Fillers

What is Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers (Injectable cosmetic/facial fillers) are tissue fillers injected into the skin, particularly the skin over the face. This is done to restore the beauty of the face by

  • Increasing smoothness
  • Removing wrinkles
  • Soft tissue enhancement

Types

Dermal filler is very useful for reducing wrinkles around the cheek and lips. This removes the parentheses that enclose the lips and adds volume to them.

Juvéderm: Juvéderm has subtypes such as voluma XC and super XC. These non-surgical fillers concentrate on softening the look of the face.

Restylane: Restylane is the most recent non-surgical filler. It increases the volume of the lips and reduces the lines around it. It is frequently generated from the sugar particles that aid in the gelation of water to cells. Restylane Silk, Restylane-L, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Defyne, and other fillers are part of the Restylane family.

Perlane: Perlane, unlike most fillers, is not derived from animal tissues. It is completely prepared from hyaluronic acid that is synthesised in the body. It focuses on reducing wrinkles and lines from the cheeks.

Perlane has an effect on your face for a minimum of nine months and a maximum of twelve months.

Why Dermal Fillers?

There is no surgery or downtime, and the patient can return to work the same day.

Almost Painless: There is very little discomfort associated with the procedure because the fillers are mixed with local anaesthetic, making it quite comfortable for the patient.

Restores the Volume and Contour of the Face and Lips: Soft tissue fillers aid in the creation of structure and re-contouring of the face, resulting in a more balanced and harmonious appearance, which is the essence of aesthetics.

Safey: These fillers are relatively safe, and no pre-procedure testing is required.

Side Effects: Temporary side effects include lip swelling, redness, and itching. They last for a day or two and will get reduced with time.

Longevity: Depending on the filler used and the area treated, the product can last up to 18 months.

Reversible: If one does not like the effects or there are minor lumps and bumps the filler can be dissolved using hyaluronidase, thereby making the treatment popular.

It is recommended to have a regular follow-up to get the greatest benefits from soft tissue fillers. Follow-up is usually sufficient once a year. Make certain that the procedure is performed in a clean setting, by a certified dermatologist to get better results for your cosmetic treatment.
